A few weeks ago I binged on Heartland while making my first homemade hay net.

I didn’t include a picture of the final product in use so here it is!  The net is small so it was a pain to load.  I ended up tearing a flake apart, but I was able to cram the whole flake in the bag. It took a while since it wouldn’t just wrap around the darn thing.

The net is a great start for a first try.  It could be useful for a mini, for tying, or for a short trailer ride.  I can’t wait to get back at it and make the next one bigger and better. My car trunk is full of twine ready to be used!

Unfortunately Blade was NOT a fan….
