I’m back for another Sunday Review!

A while ago I reviewed the Saddle Box, it’s a monthly subscription targeted to horse lovers. If you missed that review you can go back now and read it!

Saddle Box

Recently I received a Spa Dog box, the newest product from the same company. The box officially launched this year on May 1st!

As you might have guessed, this box is geared toward the pampered and beloved pooch in our lives. As horse people most of us have dogs, too. It’s important I never ever forget about Bardi!

Bardi was so excited that for once the box in the mail was all for him so he helped me unpack it and he’s ready to show you all of his spoils.

I want to first comment on the luxurious packaging the Spa Dog box came in. WOW! It is stunning and hits right away that this is a box for dogs who have sophisticated tastes. The box is beautiful and blank so it will make for an incredible gift box later on. My compliments to the designers who appreciate simple, elegant, and upcycling!

Bardi and I first found a beautiful and elegant welcome card. He was so happy to show it off and was careful not to rip the carefully cut cardstock.

Our first goodie from our Spa Dog box was a gentle therapeutic massage comb from Dog Dapper. It seems to be made of wood and we will be using it a lot with his thick coat.

We also found a small square box elegantly packaged from Stella Sophia: Jewelry for Dogs. Inside was a luxury collar pendant. The pendant is double sided and although Bardi doesn’t wear his collar at home we’ll have to sport it when we go out and about.

Also attached to Bardi’s leash is our poop bag holder. Inside the Spa Dog box, we found a roll of refills.

We also found a sticker of a very happy pup sporting some shades. I put the sticker onto my work binder and it adds a joyful touch.

Next up Bardi found a pumice stone from Chiot de Luxe. The label says to use Bardi’s nails to help create more luxurious nails.

We also found Nose and Paw Cream from Posh Puppy Canine Cosmetics. We can use this cream after using the pumice stone.

On the same trend of spa and pampering, we found a Natural Bamboo Grooming Towel.

In addition to the pampering-type items, Bardi found some fun stuff for himself in the Spa Dog box. One of them is a fun stuffed toy! One can’t have enough toys, right?

We kept finding more and more items in the Spa Dog box! Next up we found two glass bottles and a small metal spoon. One container has thyme and the other has basil. To my surprise both herbs can be good for dogs, helping to repel parasites and illness.

Finally…I don’t think any subscription box is complete without some time for a treat. In Spa Dog Bardi got 2 treats!

The first edible came in a little metal tin labeled Bonne Bouche. Inside were sugar-free Carob Drops. These are little treats that are chocolatey but safe for the doggos. I tried one too and they weren’t too bad!

The last item we found in the box was a Turducky Twizzy from Emerald Pet. These are grain-free, gluten-free, and very digestible. Bardi loved it!

I have to say I’m very impressed with the spread. There certainly were a lot of luxurious items that go beyond “need” but are also a spoil to have. In addition to having these niceties, we have some practical things.

Bardi is MOST excited about his treats. He loves the Carob drops and demolished the twizzy.

I am really excited to use the bamboo towel and brush after Bardi’s next tubby!

The Spa Dog subscription normally costs $69.95 and includes a whopping 8-12 items. Spa Dog states the value of all the items amounts to more than $150. I didn’t personally verify this, however, as I couldn’t find most of the brand’s websites. That said I do believe they included a heft value inside this box.

In addition to the regular subscription, you might also find a golden ticket. If you are one of the lucky winners you’ve won a luxury dog bed worth $500.

To celebrate their launch Spa Dog is currently offering a fantastic deal. You can also get 50% off your first box! To find out more visit: https://spadog.chargifypay.com/
